Maria Eugenia Esponda

Head of Development/Executive Director

A distinguished Mexican Film and Television Producer, Esponda now serves as the Head of Development and Executive Director at Moxie 88 after a successful tenure as Executive Vice President of Development.

In her current role, she spearheads the development of the company’s slate and leads its external collaborative projects. Esponda began her career at Moxie 88 as a Producer with her debut project—the Sony-acquired feature film, Little Bitches. She also played a pivotal role in consolidating and advancing the company’s latest venture, Moxie 88 Animation.

Esponda grew up in Mexico City and later attended NYU, where she earned a Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in Creative Production.
